workstation for examining questioned documents. The VSC 6000 is equipped with a high-resolution firewire colour video imaging system and is operated with a PC through Windows Vista. Instrument functions are selected and controlled through a comprehensive graphical user interface. Techniques include examinations in the visible and near infrared regions of the spectrum carried out with incident and transmitted UV, visible and infrared illumination up to 1000nm. The instrument is supplied with a comprehensive operating system which includes casework management and image archiving facilities. |
